Support engineer

Job Description:

You’ll be helping our customers: answering their questions, debugging their code, whatever it takes.

This is a great role for someone who wants to work at a fast moving startup. You will become an expert in our product and how to help our customers. You will also play an important role in providing feedback to our engineering team to help support our customers and shape the future of Replicate.

We’re looking for the right person, so you don’t need to satisfy all of these things. But, you might have some of these qualities:

  • You’ve done support before and you’re really good at it.
  • Outstanding written communication skills. You’ll be the face of the company.
  • You enjoy problem solving. Not every customer problem is overly complex, but you don’t mind when they are.
  • Strong engineering skills. You don’t need decades of experience, but you do need to confidently debug a customer’s problem. Most of our customers are using Python and JavaScript.
  • Machine learning knowledge is helpful, but not required.
  • You are excited about what’s happening with machine learning and generative AI.

This role is based in our San Francisco Office.
