About the Role:
Join Zoox and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of autonomous vehicles! We're seeking a talented individual to lead the design and release efforts for components on our innovative brake system. As a member of the chassis actuator engineering team at Zoox, you'll work to meet engineering milestones and collaborate with tier-one suppliers to develop and release foundation brake and hydraulic distribution components. This role encompasses both supplier-led designs and in-house developed build-to-print components. Responsibilities include managing component and system specifications, conducting failure mode and effects analysis, creating 2D and 3D computer-aided drawings and models, overseeing PLM release process documents, planning and executing validation tests, managing suppliers, and maintaining detailed project timelines. Close collaboration with cross-functional groups across Zoox is essential for success in this role.
